당신의 상상력을 자극할 'I Follow Rivers'

 

 

 

스웨덴 출신의 싱어송 라이터 리케 리(Lykke Li)가 2011년 발매한 두번째 앨범 'Wounded Rhymes'의 수록곡 중 하나. 이후 벨기에 출신의 DJ이자 프로듀서인 The Magician의 리믹스 버전이 벨기에, 독일, 이탈리아, 폴란드 등 유럽 각국에서 싱글차트 넘버 원을 차지하며 선풍적인 인기를 끌었다. 콜드플레이 크리스 마틴이 극찬한 노래이며 2013 칸 국제영화제 황금종려상 수상작인  `가장 따뜻한 색, 블루(Blue Is The Warmest Colour)`에 삽입돼 다시 한번 주목을 받았다. 영화에서 자신의 정체성에 대한 의문을 품기 시작한 아델이 자신의 생일파티에 친구들과 함께 이 노래에 맞춰 자유롭게 춤을 추는 장면이 나오는데 정말 탁월한 선곡이었다고 생각한다. 노래 덕분에 그녀의 캐릭터가 한층 빛났다.
